Literacy
On the Literacy page I will write about books I like and have read. First, I would like to say to that my favourite books are Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich, London Calling by Edward Bloor and Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach. I will review all of my favourite books, plus others, including stories written by me or some friends. Of course, an essential part of literature is ideas. After scrolling through the book reviews, you'll find a list of quotes that I really enjoy.
Bringing Down the House-Ben Mezrich
The book that the movie "21" was based off of. Anybody who's seen the movie "21" and liked it is sure to love this book! This book has everything an adolesant would ever desire, it describes a nerdy guy's college life in fantastic wording and great detail. This book however, does require a certain level of maturity, as in, if you're in that stage of life where you are saying "thats what she said" to everything; this may not be the book for you.
London Calling-Edward Bloor
Shakespeare's Secret-Elise Broach
Under the Rug and Missing in Venice-Natasa Micovic A.K.A. Me!
Magical Walruses-Celia Patrick
Once upon a time, there was a magical land far away, inhabited by magical walruses. They had magical tusks. The king walrus' name was King Pearl, for his absolutley pearly white tusks. King Pearl's tusks were extra magical. This is why, he ruled the magical land. His wife, Queen Clam had equally pearly tusks, except her's were tinted pink. They were not as magical. Then one day, all the other walruses magical tusks fell off except for King Pearl. So then King Pearl ruled the world.
